118 of 365 : Vladimir Putin

So this guy was a president of Russia.
Before being a president, he was an intelligence officer in the KGB stationed mainly in Germany.
Then he retired as a colonel, and returned to Leningrad.
He was a supporter for Anatoly Sobchak, so after Sobchak won election, Putin became his head of external relations, and then his first deputy mayor.
After Sobchak defeated, Putin resigned and returned to Moscow. He was appointed as head of management under Boris Yeltsin's presidential administration. There, he was in-charge of Kremlin's relations with regional governments.
Then, Putin was appointed as head of Federal Security, as well as head of Yeltsin's Security Council. Then, Yeltsin appointed Putin to be then-prime minister replacing Sergey Stapashin.

In September 2001, he announced Russia's stance as a US ally. Soon, he announced his opposition  - along with French and Germany governments - to the US "war on terror", which focused on ridding Iraq.

In December 2012, Putin signed into a law banning on the US adoption of Russian child.

Putin strained the relationship with US by granting an asylum to Edward Snowden who was a wanted person by US because of leaking classified information about the National Security Agency case.

Putin established an anti-gay laws. He made it illegal for gay couple to adopt kids and placed a ban on propagandizing "nontraditional" sexual relationship to minors.

In September 2013, due to cooperation of Russia and China, amongst other nations, US would refrain from attacking Syria and come up with an agreement to get Syria to release its chemical weapon. In hi op-ed in New York Times, he stated that  by US striking Syria, despite the disapproval of several other nations, could result in violence and unrest in the Middle East  potentially escalating.

110 of 365 : Pronounciation

Do you know the right way of pronouncing Aglio Olio? Its A-lio O-lio.

That horrifying moment when somebody says a word, and then you realize, you've been mispronouncing it all these times. Damm damm dammmm.

Pistachio?
Pis-ta-kee-oh

Bed?
Bed (almost like 'bid' but with e. I was pronouncing it like 'bad', haha yeah, baby I know)

Porsche?
Por-sya

Per-jzho

I want to touch a dog's campaign real talk.

SO Agree to disagree means, coming to an understanding with someone that you have a difference in opinion. You think you are right, I think I am right.

So in my opinion, I disagree with I-want-to-touch-a-dog's campaign. Whenever we disagree / agree, there must be a reason, so forgive me when I'm about to say mine. Tho, I'll try my best to say it, without having to trash other's opinion.

I think this campaign is unnecessary. From what I know, Islam asks us to show "Ihsan" to all kinds of animal including dogssss. And from what I know, here the concept of Ihsan means, when you've found any sick dog, take a good care of it, when you've found any thirsty / hungry dogs, give what they need.

But for belai-belai memanjai purpose, I don't think it's necessary. There is a reason why 7 basuhan + 1 basuhan air tanah, whenever we touch a dog *kuman - kuman ect malas lah nak terangkan pada geniuses out there, mesti semua tahu, its general knowledge dah skrg bab ni* And sekiranya bertujuan nak ajar orang Islam bersertu dengan sempurna, tak semestinya kena ada anjing kan di tempat kejadian?

SO Agree to disagree means, I acknowledge that neither person (me or you) is going to convince other person (me or you) to change my / your opinion.

So, AGREE TO DISAGREE people!

Peace

The Amazing of 6:125 (surah Al- An'am ayat 125)

Hiii How are you guys doing?!! Guttttt?

Do you want to know a secret? I would like to talk about the amazing of 6:125!

So here is the verse: "So whoever Allah wants to guide - He expands his breast to [contain] Islam; and whoever He wants to misguide - He makes his breast tight and constricted as though he were climbing into the sky. Thus Allah place defilement upon those who do not believe."

So, at first, before I'm getting smarter *before I read about this*, I've been wondering: Why would we feel stuffy, and have a tight and constricted chest, whenever we were climbing up the hill/mountain? My lack-of-knowledge brain said, "we were in the low pressure surrounding (at higher altitudes), shouldn't we feel, it's easier to breathe or something?"

But amm, here is the scientific explanation.

So actually, it doesn't matter, whether lower altitude or higher altitude, the percentage of oxygen in the air will remain the same which is 21%. But, in higher altitude, the pressure is lower, which means, air molecule is more dispersed. Therefore, with the same amount of oxygen percentage, every breath will deliver less oxygen to the body.

So pendek kata, bila oxygen semakin sedikit, badan buat adjustment.

Fakta apa? Macam sayelah. Tak pernah nya nak selidik/baca/kaji apa facts yang best tu? Tau general statement "Al-Quran itu amazing" tapi tak tahu isinya. Rugi..rugi.

Baseball bit

Hiiii.

Siape nak tau tentang baseballllllll? Tolong la jadi curious sikit! Hmh!
Ermm, actually, baseball has been a mystery but an interesting game for me! Siapa nak tau tntg rules and regulation, boleh klik video ni haaa. Simple explanation. And ade lukis lukis kartun. Tgk aaa!

Kepada sesiape yg curious pasal baseball *bagussss, gimme a hi5!*, and tertanya - tanya what is that 'strike' and 'ball' tu, here is the answer.

STRIKE IS WHEN:
1. Anytime the batter swings at the ball and misses, regardless of the location of the pitch.
2. A foul ball is hit. *Unless the foul ball is hit with two strikes, then it is a redo*.
3. A batter does not hit the ball that is delivered between 'strike zone'. *the 'strike zone' is a 3D area with top of the zone halfway between the batter's shoulders and top of his pants, the bottom the zone is the hollow of his knee, the right and left boundaries are the edges of home plate*.

BALL IS WHEN:
1. Any pitch that comes over home plate outside of the 'strike zone'. The only exception to this rule is if the batter swings at such a pitch. In that case, it is automatically a strike, regardless of the position of the pitch. When a batter is delivered with four 'balls', he earns a free pass to the first base *base on balls*. Since the batter can walk to first, this is known as 'walk'.

Happy knowing about Baseball! Nah hadiah!

I'm right! Weehuu.

I thought, i'm confused about 'biological clock' and 'body clock'. Zzzz

Dia cakap 'you don't say biological clock okay, it's body clock. Biological clock is a period for women before menopouse or something like that'

And I was like 'oh really? They are all use biological clock to say about sleep disorder on twitter, how would i know which one is which one. Grr'

Lepas tu tadi org google, kan ; BOLEH AARRR RONYYYY KALAU NAK GUNA BIOLOGICAL CLOCK UTK ORG YG ADA INVERTED SLEEP PATTERN! Free dictionary cakap boleh! Bwek.

Biological clock
"1. An internal mechanism in organisms that controls the periodicity of various functions or activities, such as metabolic changes, sleep cycles, or photosynthesis." - free dicitionary

Tapi better guna body clock la lepas ni. Kang org yg tak baca free dictionary mcm confuse plak kita cakap pasal org nak menopouse ke org yg ade sleep disorder. Teehee

Thesis Instagram.

Hi!!!

How are you guys doing? Goooooooooood?

I am conducting my own experiment right now. Cewah. Because I'm curious liddat, kot. Well, have you guys ever wondering, ermm how could a normal people gain many 'likes' on instagram photos? *yang tak famous la okay, for famous people, gambar berus gigi pun boleh dapat beribu likes

AIM:
The aim for this experiment is to observe, pukul berapa paling orang suka 'like' gambar *AEST time okay. And kalau lucky enough, boleh dapat sekali, gambar jenis apa orang suka 'like'.

LITERATURE REVIEW:
A blog revealing the statistic tentang masa orang suka 'like'. But people, I don't really like statistic facts because it's usually gain by average calculation system. It's a valid method, but I don't like it k. Dia macam eliminate banyak factors kot. *dah lupa link blog tersebut.

So it says orang usually 'like' photos on

1. Tuesday (10am/1000)
2. Thursday (8am/0800)
3. Friday (8am/0800)

METHODOLOGY:

Use famous hashtag in conducting this experiment, with an account that has less than 40 friends. (To eliminate the friendship-basis thingy)

Equation involves : Likes/Followers*100

RESULTS:

Thursday (11am/1100, 150813) exp:
Photos: Ducks in centennial park/natural *Does not involves people
Result/Rate: 38 likes/fast
Note: Kinda ramai. During this time, the 'likes' is 135.7%

Friday (12am/0000, 160813) exp:
Photos: Central/Filter *Does not involves people
Result/Rate: 18likes/slow
Note: -

Wednesday (12am/0000, 210813) exp:
Photos: Me with QVB elevator/Filter *Does not involves people
Result/Rate: 49 likes/Super fast
Note: Maybe peak hours? 129% for this.

Wednesday (11am/1100, 210813) exp:
Photos: Pump station at Snowy River/natural
Result/Rate: 39 likes/Fast
Note: 102%

Wednesday (11pm/2300, 210813) exp:

Photos: Me at the La Perouse/natural & the same picture with filter
Result/Rate: 14 likes/very slow
Note: Seriously, the lowest results collected

CONCLUSION:

Will be posted later. This experiment is still an ongoing project. Nanti bila dah habis kita buat buku thesis terus, k.

#1 Martian and Venusian

What I've learnt in this past few days are:

Do not try to help or give advices to men if they are not asking for it. Its gonna be the unnecessary advices or critics to them. In the most cases?

Do not attempt to give a solution to women when she's telling the problem and upset about it. She's actually just want to be heard. Solutions are surely needed, but maybe when she's not upset anymore?

Men usually love to solve their own problems by themselves, therefore they are doing the thinking or other things that could distract themselves from stress. So the quiet or 'space out' thingy are usually normal. Women should understand this. They are usually do not open up during the stress moment, and this is normal.

Women are going to talk about the problems to feel better. So just hear them up.

Men need to start giving, and don't worry about being rejected. Like people usually said, "Be a Man!"

Women need to start receiving and stop giving too much. You deserve love.

::There you go. It's just until chapter 4 right now. Toodle-oo.

Daylight saving. Herm

Hiii Keekersssss.

Eh salah pulak. Erm malam ini daylight saving off tau. Jadi kita nak tunggulaa dari pukul 2.59am lepas tu jadi pukul 2.00am balik. Ahaa. Macam magik kan. It's magic it's magic. Soon, malam cepat. Yes I love it. I'm a night person tho. Sebab malam sentiasa indah. Ada bulan, bintang, peaceful, liyana, eh? Dan malam boleh tidur. K bye.

The Doblerdommer Theory (HIMYM)

The Doblerdommer Theory : a combination of two separate conditions that correspond to entirely different fallout when pursued. It's between charming or alarming? Long lost lover or crazy ass stalker? Letting the universe work its magic or controlling it for our own benefits and probably going to say "I can't stand the idea of not meeting you".

Dobler : Taken from a character (lloyd dobler) in "Say Anything" and it's used in the situation of pure chance meets instant connection and both people are into each other.

Dommer (Dahmer) : Taken from a character (jeffery dahmer) in "Dahmer" and it's used for a manipulative undermining situation that leads to planned coincidence and only one person is into it.

Famous boombox scene in Say Anything by Lloyd Dobler
Which one is you? Dobler or Dahmer?

Deja-vu

Deja-vu is a French word for 'already seen'.

Scientists consider it's a kind of brain malfunction. The evidence is not entirely clear, but according to a research, when a person has an experience, his mind will find for a similar experiences that have been stored in the memory archive in the brain area called hippocampus. So, during the process, there is a possibility that no matching of the memory could be found, and the brain incorrectly reports, there is. At this point we feel that we have experienced something before, even though we haven't, and we are gonna say :

"Eh, rasa macam pernah jadi la benda ni. Wah rupanya aku pun boleh jadi macam That's so Raven".

Weekends

Hey ultimate weekend! I use to hate Ahad, because the next day is Isnin. But this is totally wrong. Wrong mentality. Kita patut peluk (embrace) Ahad, to the fullest.

This is my lazy ahad. \

PS : lets.

It's all about genes. Thalassemia.

Thalassemia : Blood disorder passed down through families in which the body makes an abnormal for of hemoglobin, the protein in red blood cells that carries oxigen. The disorder results in excessive destruction of red blood cells, which leads to anemia.

Earworms

Heyyy! Did you guys ever get a song stuck in your head?

Well that phenomenon is called earworm or also known as 'haunting melody' or 'hard-to-shake melody' or 'stuck song syndrome' or 'involuntary musical imagery' or 'brainworms' or 'sticky music'. But I'm gonna use 'earworm' for this time cuz it's sound so.... wormy?

Earworm : A piece of music that sticks in one's mind so that one seems to hear it even when it is not being played. This thing is so common in normal life and so may be distinguished from brain damage which results in palinacousis.

Everyone's will experience this except for people who never listen to any music in his whole life. Like a hobo that live in a cave with two cotton buds that are stuck in his ears.

How to un-earworm it?

1. Unhearit (my review: what a troll -.-")
2. Replace it with another song.
3. Give it to someone else.

Your choices.

Random

Do you know what is the differences between gorgeous, beautiful, pretty, stunning and cute? They don't really have any solid difference. For me, there is only a thin line between all of those terms. However, if we still want to take a look at the differences, then let's just go through by each term.

Warning: All of these words are my individual opinion. People said, the level of attractiveness is very subjective. Different people have different tastes. Always.

Stunning:

It's like captivating. It makes you stop and stare. Your appearances play an important role to make other people feel stunning about you. So I don't really have an example to describe this term. In my opinion, anybody can go stunning. Just go and buy an amazing dress from Vera Wang or put some make up that makes you look different.

Gorgeous:

Like really, really pretty. It's involving a perfect feature. Maybe about your jaw line or sharp nose, oval face, big eyes, full lips, cheekbone, perfect teeth and healthy body. By the word healthy, it means that not too thin and not too fat. Moderate.

Eg: Madeleine Stowe (Victoria Grayson)

Beautiful:

Emotionally-attached version of pretty. Maybe it's the most meaningful word for pretty. It also means a description of the best on the inside and outside of a person of interest.

Eg: My mum, Emma Watson, Vanessa Hudgens, Leighton Meester (Blair Cornelia Waldorf)

Pretty:

Nice facial features and appearances, without involving any emotion from the people that use the word to describe someone else.

Eg: Emily VanCamp (Emily Thorne/Amanda Clarke), Jennifer Carpenter (Debra Morgan), Blake Lively (Serena Van Der Woodsen)

Cute:

Things that make you go 'awwww'. Not necessarily involving people that are really pretty or handsome. Maybe depending on someone's attitude or action. Usually involving someone small and makes you want to keep it. Or someone who has a cute face like big eyes with small mouth with small face or something?

Eg: Go Mi Nam (Park Shin Hye).

Six Degrees of Separation

Have you guys heard about six degrees of separation? Other than The Script's song, of course.

Well, I never heard of it until I accidentally clicked on The Script's music video, "Six Degrees of Separation". Okay, for those awesome people who want to know bout it, let me tell yah.

Okayh awesome people, six degrees of separation is the idea that any two people in the world are connected in some way by no more than six people. Uh? So not convincing. Is this definition real? Sorry, I'm going to find out another convincing definition for you. Jap eh.

Okayh, betul lah tu. Tadi misread kejap. Ha ha. But it can be explained like this:

It is hypothesized that everyone on the planet can be connected through no more than six degrees of separation. For example, let say that I want to be connected with Paul McCartney. The first step for me is to  find any friend who lives in London, and then, my friend is connected to other friends until I had someone who knows Paul McCartney. This should take no more than 6 of these 'friend to friend' connections.

Graphic description for better understanding:

ME (LJ) --> #1 A friend that studies in London --> #2 His study mate --> #3 His studymate's aunty --> #4 Husband of that aunty --> #5 The bestfriend of that husband --> #6 Paul McCartney (means that maybe Paul is a cousin of that bestfriend

But ammm, sejauh mana kesahihan nye, wallahua'lam. But, this is a very cool theory, ey mate? Kan kan.
Do listen to The Script. I would like to recommend some cool songs and they are as below:

1. Break even
2. For the first time
3. Hall of fame
4. Six degrees of separation.

PS: I don't think that the song of "six degrees of separation" is talking about the real six degrees of separation. I don't know why the lyrics are a bit different and explaining about different things. The song is about six degrees of separation after break up? Maybe they change it or something. Well, a song is always need to be related with heart, feelings, love. There is no place for geek nerd theories in song's lyrics. Except for TBBT's theme song.
